He is known as one of European football’s fastest players, and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang once again showed why in Arsenal training on Wednesday as he thrashed team-mate Lucas Perez in a race.

The pair were filmed in an Arsenal social media video taking part in a speed drill during training in Singapore, where they had to do press-ups before completing a short sprint.

Aubameyang was paired together with the unfortunate Lucas Perez, and recovered from a slow start to eventually outclass his opponent.

Leroy Sane earned top spot in the table, with the Manchester City flyer reaching a highest speed of 35.48 km/h.

Crystal Palace’s Patrick van Aanholt and Moussa Sissoko of Tottenham were second and third respectively.
