Young Italian striker Andrea Favilli netted twice as Juventus beat Bayern Munich in a clash of two European heavyweights in Philadelphia.

The International Champions Cup match pitted two sides with seven European Cups between them against each other but there were stars missing from both sides.

Bayern, shorn of their German World Cup flops, fielded and inexperienced side while Juventus had the stronger line-up due to Italy’s non-involvement at the World Cup – and it showed.
