Danny Rose could still leave Tottenham this month with Paris Saint-Germain emerging as an option for him.

The England international is yet to play in Tottenham’s two opening Premier League fixtures, with manager Mauricio Pochettino opting for Ben Davies at left back.

After turning down a loan move to Schalke this summer, the Evening Standard report that the 28-year-old is open to a move to a European club before the transfer window shuts later this month.

Spurs are, however, some way off agreeing a deal for Rose to leave north London, however Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be interested in bringing him to Parc des Princes.

Rose would also be interested in a move to the French capital, with Pochettino thought to be happy with Kyle Walker-Peters as sufficient back-up for Welshman Davies.

The Standard also report that Cameron Carter-Vickers is closing in on a season-long loan move to Swansea.

However, Spurs’ attempts to get rid of flop striker Vincent Janssen this summer appear to be over after the player had surgery on his foot.

It means the Dutchman, who was signed for £18.5million from AZ Alkmaar in 2016, will be sidelined for at least a couple of months and Spurs will have to cut their losses in January at the earliest.
