Ryder Cup 2018: Europe captain Thomas Bjorn urges hopefuls to "take control" of their fate

“Eddie and Fitz have a lot to do in the way they need to win the golf tournament so it’s a big ask, but they are very capable of doing that,” said Bjorn.

“You’ve just got to sit on the sidelines and have a good look at it. It’s going to be interesting.”

Seven automatic qualification spots have already been filled, with Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose, Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Alex Noren already confirmed in Bjorn’s side.

The Dell Technologies Championship, which runs simultaneously to the Made in Denmark event, doesn’t earn players any points towards Ryder Cup standings.
