The son of Sea The Stars landed the Weatherbys Hamilton £1million bonus at York last month when he added victory in the Lonsdale Stakes to his previous successes in the Yorkshire Cup, Ascot Gold Cup and Goodwood Cup.

Under the terms of the WH Bonus, Gosden’s staff were entitled to £75,000 but that was topped up six figures by Bjorn Nielsen, owner of Stradivarius.
