Manchester United arrived at their London hotel on Friday night ahead of their Premier League showdown against Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho and his squad travelled by train from Stockport station to the capital earlier in the day.

Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Co were spotted turning up at their West London accommodation, while Alexis Sanchez was at the hotel but wasn’t pictured. He arrived back in England on Friday afternoon after international duty.

Sportsmail reported this week that Sanchez is debating a move away from United just nine months after his mega-money switch from Arsenal.

It is believed the Chilean’s representative has been sounding out potential suitors across Europe to gauge the level of interest in the 29-year-old.

Sanchez has endured an indifferent season, his last-gasp winner against Newcastle a fortnight ago the first goal he has scored since April.

Prior to the 3-2 victory over Newcastle, Mourinho’s side had gone four games without a victory in all competitions.

Meanwhile Mourinho’s former club Chelsea are yet to lose in the Premier League this season.

United go into the game in eighth place in the table and are already seven points adrift of Chelsea, who are joint-top.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insisted Mourinho deserves more respect for his glittering past as the two managers prepare to meet for the first time.

Sarri also claimed Manchester United had the best squad of talent in the Premier League.

‘We are talking about a coach who has won everything and won everywhere,’ said the Chelsea manager.

‘I have to respect him. But I think, also, that you all have to respect him. I’m not sure at the moment he gets the respect he deserves.

‘He is a very good coach, a very good manager, one of the best in the world.’
