Six months on from the launch of the Volunteer Programme in the nine host cities of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™, the application period is drawing to a close. Those still interested have until Friday 30 November to register.
From 7 June to 7 July 2019, some 2,500 volunteers will be stationed throughout France to help ensure that the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ runs smoothly, while enjoying their own first-hand experience of this international event.
The tournament’s nine host venues (Paris, Grenoble, Le Havre, Montpellier, Nice, Reims, Rennes, Valenciennes and Lyon) will each welcome between 250 and 350 volunteers. From directing spectators to managing the accreditation centre, or even escorting players to anti-doping tests, volunteers will play an essential role at the event. Not only will they actively contribute to the smooth running and success of the tournament, but theirs will be the first smiles seen by spectators arriving at the stadiums.
