Manchester City wrapped up against the elements as they put in a final evening session ahead of the visit of Bournemouth to the Etihad on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in action for the 3pm kick-off, in which they will be bidding to continue their undefeated Premier League run.

Taking to the club’s Etihad Campus, City players made their way outside wrapped up in several layers to ward off the chilly Manchester air.

In good spirits, the league leaders began posing for the cameras before getting down to business and putting the final touches to their match day preparation.

The Cherries will arrive in Manchester on the back of a concerning run of form, after losing their last three consecutive games.

Victory for City would see them pull further clear of closest rivals Liverpool, who don’t return to action until Sunday in the Merseyside derby.

Guardiola’s men currently lead the way by two points, after 13 games played.

The manager himself spoke out this week on how the club could be completely forced to change its business model following changes to the loan system.

FIFA are planning to implement restrictions on the amount of youngsters clubs are allowed to loan out per season to between six and eight.

‘The new rules are coming. If we don’t believe they are going to play and if we cannot loan them we are going to sell them,’ Guardiola said. 

‘If it is not possible to loan them we are not going to buy them.’ 

FIFA said their proposals are designed to aid ‘the development of the regulation of loans of players for the purpose of youth development as opposed to commercial exploitation.’
